On August 12th 2009, on the business to Yen Bai, VNGov- Primer Minister Nguyen Tan Dung paid a visit & had a working session with Vinaconex Corporation’s leaders in Vinaconex Yen Binh Cement Factory. Accompanying with the PM, there were also the delegation of the Government & the leaders of Yen Bai province.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan - Chaiman of Management Board, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong - General Director of Vinaconex Corporation and all staffs of Vinaconex Yen Binh Cement Factory were very honoured to greet the PM & the Gov 's delegation to visit & work in the factory.

The construction investment project of Vinaconex Yen Binh Cement Factory which is one of 5 cement projects in North-Western region, is honourably approved to invest and sent out the building commencement by Primer Minister-Nguyen Tan Dung.
Vinaconex Yen Binh Cement Factory project has design capacity of 750.000 tons of clinker, equivalent to 1.000.000 tons of cement per year, with its total investment capital about 1.175 billions dong and Vinaconex Corporation is its investor, simultaneously its general contractor and also its main engineering contractor. The project has sucessfully finished in terms of constructional progress, economics, quality, environment & social welfare.

After visiting the factory, the PM worked with the leaders of Corporation, & talked with representatives of Vinaconex Yen Binh Cement Joint-Stock Company. Speaking at the visit, the PM appreciated all significant achievements of VINACONEX Corporation and cited itself to be a Labour Hero title during the renovation time.
Honourably greeting together with the glory of Vinaconex Corp, Vinaconsult., jsc was very proud of taking part in design consultant of the project’s major phases such as: design road-bed leveling linking the factory to provincial road, office building and the apartments of the staffs; change the design a part of factory into Vietnamese standards, design the working drawings of the factory ; make an economic - technical report including its construction design: apartments for workers and sport area … Vinaconsult.,jsc has well performed its work entrusted by Vinaconex Corp, to contribute considerably to the overall success of the project.
Before finishing a visit, the PM gave gifts, planted trees and took photographs with the leaders of Vinaconex Corporation and the representatives of the factory. A sucessful finish of the PM’s visit & work gave all staffs of Vinaconex unforgetable impresssion. Vinaconex Corp would try their best to put into reality the Government’s & the PM’s guidelines for current economic solutions to fulfill the plan of 2009 & coming years and also to be worthy of the PM’s entrust and noble award of Labour Hero title awarded by the Party & Government.
